Cook, *Pay based on experience*
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 4am - 1pm
Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment

R L Carriers has immediate openings for a cafeteria cook in our Wilmington, OH terminal.
Responsibilities:
- Work with management in creations & implementing of new/different menu items
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking for daily specials (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food in various utensils and grillers
- Ensure great presentation & dish quality
- Maintain a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Other duties as requested by management
Requirements and skills:
- SERV Safe /Equivalent a plus
- Proven 2 years’ experience as cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, bakeware, commercial ovens, flattop grill, basic food prep equipment, and deep fryers,
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for entire shift
- Good work ethic
- Reliable
- Ability to read and follow recipes
