The primarily purpose of the position is to provide expertise in Bentley

ProjectWise Design Integration services to Engineering Departments with a

focus on engineering and architectural design software integration. The position

is accountable for managing, customizing, and administrating both ProjectWise

hardware and software. The position also helps ensure adherence to the agency's IT’s

Project Development Lifecycle Framework to successfully lead, plan, coordinate,

execute, and implement large and highly complex, cross discipline, and

technology programs. This position aid in the technical development and

enhancement of Bentley ProjectWise within Building Information Modeling

(BIM) environment in Bentley AECOsim and Autodesk Revit platform.

Responsibilities:

• Define ProjectWise architectural and specification.
• Install and configure ProjectWise server & clients throughout the MTA agency.
• Identify ProjectWise Storage Area Locations.
• Initial ProjectWise SQL database creation.
• Assist in applying and maintaining ProjectWise System Security, including collaboration with Cyber Security department to ensure latest security requirements are implemented.
• Provide Functional Support to ProjectWise activities through.
• ProjectWise Data Source Strategy (fully managed workspace).
• ProjectWise Folder Structure.
• Setup and maintenance of ProjectWise environments.
• Setup of Users and defining their permission.
• Setup of ProjectWise Groups.
• Data Migration and Project setup.
• ProjectWise Security.
• Defining Workflow and States.
• Title Block Integration.
• Generating ProjectWise Reports.
• ProjectWise Application association.
• Providing day-to-day ProjectWise support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Six (6) or more years of managing/administering Bentley ProjectWise Design Integration with multi disciplines AE firm for fully managed and hybrid workspace of multi platforms (Bentley/Autodesk) is a plus.
• Strong background in CADD/BIM in Bentley MicroStation/AECOsim and Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit software.
• Highly proficient in developing, maintaining and modifying fully managed and hybrid workspace in ProjectWise environment for AECOsim and Revit.
• Ability to provide both hands-on and remote technical support to all ProjectWise users
• High level of professional integrity and work ethic with a dedication in providing high quality service.
• Strong skills in ProjectWise deployment, monitoring overall system status, troubleshooting system issues, testing and certifying new versions,
• Strong working knowledge of SQL database and SQL scripting.
• Deep familiarity and experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for all platforms and use of ProjectWise as collaboration and integration tool.
• Proven knowledge of work process in AE firms throughout all phases of pre-design, design, construction and operation.
• Seasoned expertise in multiple technologies and strong understanding of the current and future technology architecture, including the inter-operability of technologies.
• Proven track record of successful implementation of architectural designs.

Pay: $70,911.04 - $110,355.23 per year
