Job Title: Commissary Delivery Driver

R&K Foods Inc is a regional grocery store distribution company focused on local vegetarian and vegan foods. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person to join our merchandising team. Overview

R&K Foods’ Commissary Delivery Driver manages and operates a temperature-controlled roll-on-roll-off commissary delivery program. You will dispatch from R&K’s SODO warehouse; at your first stop you will roll-on all the deliveries scheduled for the day, and at each delivery stop after that you will roll-off the product intended for that location. In this position you will operate an 18-foot Refrigerated Box Truck, Liftgate, Loading Docks and Loading Dock Ramps, as well as Dock Plates (when needed) to access require delivery locations.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Provide excellent and professional customer service.

Consistent communication with our customers and R&K Food team.

Operate according to R&K and our Customer’s standards.

Deliver product efficiently, accurately, and at the proper temperature.

Maintain cleanliness and order throughout all R&K sets.

Work well with store representatives and driving partner.

Requirements

Must have an active WA State Divers License and be 21 years of age, or older.

Familiar and comfortable operating an 18-foot box truck, CDL not required.

Clean driving record.

Clear and consistent communication skills.

Excellent time management, dependable, and detail oriented.

Must meet the physical demands, including sitting, standing, bending, twisting, as well as pushing and/or pulling up to 75lbs regularly.

Available to work 1:30 PM to 8-9 PM, Monday-Friday, and alternating Sundays

R&K Foods Total Compensation Package Includes

Competitive starting wage, starting at $20.00/hr.

90-day performance-based raise.

Eligible for Medical and Dental benefits after 60 days.

Coverage under State Sick Leave.
