ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Solely responsible for the revenue of your fleet of drivers.
Maintain excellent communication between company and driver. Manage driver PTO.
Address and resolve any driver issues promptly and courteously.
Responsible for understanding e-logs and assisting drivers with managing their HOS.
In charge of driver retention of your fleet. Direct inbound and outbound activities.
Ensure performance standards and productivity objectives are met.
Make certain full compliance with administrative policies and federal and state regulatory compliance.
Work one on one with the safety department.
Obtain temperature check calls minimum of twice daily.
Update projected time of availability, (PTA) daily to enable planners to maximize drivers hours and miles.
Issue advances and comchecks to drivers.
Build positive relationships with drivers to best maximize retention levels, increase online delivery percentages and achieve top-tier customer service.
Confirm that each driver has an adequate understanding of all customers and expectations on each load at the point of dispatch.
Represent the Company for business development and resolution of service issues.
Maintain accurate and up to date computer systems.
Other duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
College degree in related field preferred.
Former customer service experience preferred.
Previous experience in the trucking industry a plus.

Ability to interact and communicate effectively over the phone, via email, and face to face.
Capacity to recognize when action is necessary and urgency to handle the matter.
Capability to prioritize workflow to maximize time effectively.
Able to perform mathematical calculations in order to determine transit times.
