Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our shop. This is a hands-on position that requires technical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Assist with various tasks in the shop, including grinding, sanding, and removing sharp edges from metal.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or shop environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required

Position description: We are not hiring welders. Only helpers: Sandblast, grind welds, sanding, deburr, and clean stainless-steel parts. No experience required; we will train. You will need a good work ethic, have dependable transportation, be at work on time, and willingness to learn. Full time position, 50 hrs per week. Normal Hours 7am-5:30pm. Custom fabrication shop is seeking a full-time shop helper. Perform all types of metal finishing work on Stainless Steel. English (Required) Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Stand for long periods, work with various hand tools. Must have valid driver’s license, authorized to work in the US. Must speak English. 1 week vacation after 1 year.
