· Ability to comprehend and apply training received in the fabrication associated with products manufactured for sale to R&D customers.
· Ability to apply training received in the use hand tools such as crimp tools, wire strippers, heat guns, soldering equipment, torque tools, and multi-meters as associated with the manufacturing of products.
· Read, comprehend, complete training, and follow detailed work instructions in the manufacture of products.
· Maintain the assigned work area as well as the equipment and tools assigned to the work area.
· Train, comprehend, complete training, and follow policies prescribed in the manufacturing process including, but not limited to, FOD, 6S, Lean manufacturing, SPMT participation.
· Assist in the development of work instructions by stop work and notifying management personnel if instructions are not clear so that they may be developed or additionally explained.
· Perform other job related duties as assigned.

10. Authority: Decision Making What is the nature of the direct supervision that is provided to the incumbent of this position?
For the purposes of determining work assignments the technician will rely on the guidance of the Manufacturing Group Leader. For purposes of performance feedback and evaluation the technician will rely on the guidance of the Manufacturing Supervisor of which they are assigned to report. The Manufacturing Group Leader reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor who reports to the Plant Manager. The Plant Manager reports to the President of the company.
