Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting pharmaceutical products safely and efficiently to their designated destinations.

As a vital member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of medications and medical supplies to healthcare providers and patients.

Responsibilities :

• Safely and accurately transport pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and equipment to various locations, including hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, and patient residences.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the handling and transportation of pharmaceutical products.
• Verify and document delivery instructions, including recipient information, delivery addresses, and special handling requirements.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues or concerns.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring proper handling, storage, and security throughout the delivery process.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and incident reports, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices for transporting pharmaceutical products is highly desirable.
• Excellent driving skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately verify and document delivery information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
