About the RoleAs a QA Engineer at Quore, you will be an integral part of our development team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and APIs. You will be responsible for both manual testing and developing automated test solutions to support the development lifecycle. This role is a hybrid role and will work in-person from the Franklin, TN Quore office 2 or more days a week.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform manual testing of our web and mobile applications to identify issues.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for regular regression testing.
- Test API integrations and backend services to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine appropriate test scenarios and with the development team to troubleshoot issues and system performance.
- Document detailed test results and manage bug tracking.
- Participate in the creation of processes to support continuous improvement in quality assurance standards.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a QA tester or similar role, with a focus on web and mobile applications and APIs
- Strong experience in manual testing and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman).
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Familiarity with multilingual systems and international deployment strategies.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
