Transportation Trailer Technician – Atlanta, GA

Job Summary: Primary job duty is to service, repair, install, adjust, clean and maintain all vehicles in the Production Vehicle Department for the Company.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Service and maintain the operating condition of machinery and equipment.
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
Diagnose and repair generators, thermostats, water heater, plumbing and electrical systems.
Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Ability to do service calls when needed.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using testing devices.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
Meet with supervisor to review information pertinent to the job performance, such as daily assignments, business levels, pending projects, etc.
Meet Attendance Policy Guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications/Experience:

5 years of experience in similar position.
General knowledge of trailer manufacturing, repairing trailer components and inventory practices.
Generator repair experience.
Strong communication skills.
Valid Driver’s License with positive standing driving record.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must display strong customer service and treat all customers in a friendly, polite, positive and helpful manner.
Must engage work with a high sense of urgency and be detail oriented.
Must be able to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Must be reliable and be flexible in schedule.
Must operate clean and organized, and maintain all equipment required in job functions.
Work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments, and co-workers as part of a team.
Adherence to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Work well under pressure of meeting timelines.
Ability to use senses to ensure quality standards are met.
Ability to count and inspect a variety of materials accurately and thoroughly.
Ability to maintain records accurately.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently move/traverse
Ascend/descend steps to enter and exit trailer restroom.
Constantly positions self to bend, lift, stoop, reach and lift.
Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
This position works both indoor and outdoor.
Ability to work around chemical cleaning solutions.
Takes reasonable and necessary precautions to ensure personal health and safety.
Reports to management or follow procedure as established in Safety Program all conditions that may be affecting the safety and health of the workplace.
Reports to management all occurrences that cause injury or damage to any person or property.
Comply with the Company Safety Program, Policies and Procedures.

Work Environment:

Activities include regularly working in outside weather conditions, exposure to extremes of temperature, visibility, wet and/or humid conditions, and vibrations. Noise level in work environment is usually loud. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, operating vehicle, and shift work.

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $22.00 - $30.00 per hour.

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.

Quixote Studios reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above
