Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. - the nation’s largest minority and women owned law firm - has an immediate opportunity for a Fart-Time Insurance Defense Litigator to join the firm.

Who We Need: We are seeking an Insurance Defense Litigator with 3 years or more of experience to work in our Reno, Nevada office on a full-time basis (partially remote). We are looking for someone who is ambitious, hard-working, self-motivated, and contributes to our positive culture.

Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

· Conduct depositions

. Prepare discovery and responses to discovery

· Attend local hearings

· Draft litigation papers

· Draft motions

· Perform investigations

· Prepare cases for trial

· Report to insurance carriers and other clients

· Summarize medical document review

This individual will also be exposed to preparing motions, conducting examinations under oath and depositions, and conducting extensive document review in sophisticated insurance litigation.

Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney Requirements:

· Admission to the Nevada State Bar (California Bar a plus)

· At least 2 years of relevant experience

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Familiar with all phases of discovery

· Have an interest in investigating and litigating insurance claims

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
