We are an upscale clothing boutique in Fairhaven looking for a sales associate to join our team. If you love fashion and want to provide only the best customer service, we want you! Please come to the store with your resume on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10-2.
Requirements: Must have weekend availability and commitment of at least one year in the position.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on products
- Welcome customers to the store and knowledgeably answer their questions
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Maintain high knowledgeability on our inventory and brands
- Ring up purchases on our computer system
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
- Work attire is keeping with the store style
- Ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships with customers
- Comfortable calling customers
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales Representative or similar role
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Quick learner
- Basic computer skills
- Looking for someone who is detail oriented, organized, persuasive, team player, patient, understanding and helpful
- Self motivated
This is primarily a weekend position with occasional weekday shifts available.
This is a year round position, not seasonal.
10-15 hrs per week with the potential for more.
