Responsibilities:
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and maintain carpets using specialized equipment
- Strip, wax, and buff floors to maintain their appearance
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in environmental services or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, and vacuums
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
