DESCRIPTION
This Limited Part Time position is grant-funded and is contingent upon continuation of the grant. This position will be located at our Boston site at 122 Arlington Street. The CHW Instructor will instruct students according to the curriculum designed to assist students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed to complete the CHW program. The instructor must possess the ability to work with students from different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. The instructor will teach 10 hours/week for 10 weeks of classroom instruction. The teacher is responsible for establishing a positive and welcoming classroom environment, where all students have the ability to learn.

Security Policy and Notification of Security Reporting
FERPA
Municipal Ethics Law
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A minimum of one year to two years of advising experience, knowledge of current student development theory and research, willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, and a proven ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for students from diverse backgrounds are all requirements of this position. Experience working with non-traditional students is strongly preferred. Some evening and occasional weekend hours may be required in additional to travel to our Boston center.
