Quinco Electrical, Inc is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice Near Naples, FL

Electrician Helper
Responsible for assisting and or installing electrical infrastructures. Works at construction sites, factories, warehouses, and businesses.
Primary Responsibilities.
  • Assist/Install underground electrical conduit, boxes, and concrete pole bases.
  • Assist/Install overhead electrical conduit, boxes, and concrete pole bases.
  • Assist/Install conduit elbows, couplings, fittings, etc., using small hand tools.
  • Assist/Install lighting, electrical outlets, and non-energized electrical equipment.
  • Assist/Install conduit hangers, with bolts and screws using hand & battery-operated tools.
  • Use tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers.
  • Clean up.
  • Follow directions.
  • Ability to lift 35lbs
  • Work outdoors all day,
  • Work indoors all day at times.
  • Pull large and small wire through conduit.
Electrician Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including all related electrical infrastructure, lighting, and wiring.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintain, organize, and ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies, tools, equipment, and parts.
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make repairs and or corrections necessary to promote positive workflow.

Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Electrician license
  • Valid Driver’s License and or I.D
  • Willing to work OVERTIME when needed.
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
  • Completion of Electrical Apprenticeship program.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • 3-5 years min of Commercial Electrical Experience.
  • Completion of an Electrical program at a Technical or Trade school
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
  • Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials and equipment.
