We are seeking qualified NP interested in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, urgent care, counseling, and other specialties. We are looking for licensed NP located within Idaho.

Another advantage is flexible scheduling. We offer an array of scheduling options and hours that are beneficial to the team and cover patient needs. This position may require up to 25% travel within the U.S. For an interested traveling NP, travel could exceed 25%.

QuickMD launched in 2019 and is a rapidly growing national telehealth company dedicated to providing internal medicine, addiction treatment, urgent care, counseling and other services that are affordable and accessible to all. One area that makes QuickMD unique is a strong focus on helping solve the opioid epidemic in the U.S. We are one of the largest telehealth organizations in the U.S. that focuses on providing medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD).


Job Description

A qualified candidate must possess compassion, empathy, and the ability to handle the demands of the position. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background with experience directly treating patients in a telehealth or in-person setting. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing services to patients that may include, but are not limited to, performing initial examinations including physical exams and patient observations, drug screening, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic screenings as indicated.
  • Perform clinical responsibilities within scope of practice in either a telehealth or in-person clinic. Location is subject to vary based on state requirements.
  • Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures, in addition to legal regulations
  • Create and maintain medical documentation to support the patient’s comprehensive treatment plan and medical history.
  • Other responsibilities may include setting up and monitoring medical equipment, ordering and administering diagnostic tests, communicating test results to patients and their families
  • Manage patient access to both scheduled and non-emergent unscheduled visits to ensure availability and continuity of care
  • Identify and prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, when appropriate
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers when clinically indicated. Collaborative agreements may be necessary as part of your position.

Requirements and skills

  • Educational Criteria: Master’s of science in nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited nurse practitioner program, Certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) license or equivalent, Advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) certification or equivalent, or Advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) or BSc/MA in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science or Medical Science or equivalent clinical leadership experience
  • Must hold a valid certification or license in good standing in the state(s) applying to
  • Prescriptive authority, as required, DEA preferred
  • At least two years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, listening skills
  • Ideal candidate with have superior organization and time management skills with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Empathy and compassion for our patients
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification or equivalent preferred

As part of the onboarding process, all candidates are required to complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training. Malpractice insurance provided (3m/1m). 1099 provided at the end of the year.
