Shift: M-F 8am - 4:30pm (OT offered)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and understand all customer standardized test method documents.

• Perform physical property testing within corporate polyurethane quality lab according to the customer standardized documents.

• Maintain, control, and ensure accuracy of test data.

• Monitor and ensure testing is performed within Temperature and Humidity control.

• Update testing matrix daily to note completed testing.

• Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the lab area daily.

• Maintain sample and test fixture inventories.

• Follow all lab safety practices.

• Participate in ISO 16949 & A2LA (ISO 17025) system improvement activities, including but not limited to audits and Proficiency Testing.

• Participate in Gage R & R studies on lab equipment.

• Participate in equipment verification.

• Participate in Quality Planning meetings when required.

• Be a self – starter; to complete all work orders in a timely manner.

• Abide by all EH&S requirements.

• Comply with company and departmental rules, policies and practices.

• Communicate with team members and supervision on all issues, concerns, updates, etc.

• Perform all roles & responsibilities as defined by the BOS policies & procedures.

• Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Quality Engineer/Manager or UTC Manager

Education Required:

• Associate degree in a related technical area and/or equivalent in work experience.

• ASQ quality certification considered an asset

Experience Required:

• Two to Five years previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Customer quality system experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Associate degree in a related technical area and/or equivalent in work experience will be considered.

• ASQ quality certification considered an asset

Basic Excel knowledge required.
