Full Job Description

The Billing Associate will be responsible for generating company invoices for new and existing customers. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, have technical understanding, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent customer service skills. Will become subject matter expert on billing functions. Review billing teams assigned tasks and provides assistance as needed. Knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, Cooking equipment terminology is a Plus!

Job Requirements

• Data entry of customer parts and labor.
• Confirm proper list pricing on all OEM parts used/needed and calculate accurate pricing on any additional materials used per company markup requirements.
• Answer technician phone calls and update work order with current labor and part information per technician’s instructions.
• Work up prices with technicians for verbal approval for customer repairs.
• Provide accurate intraoffice notes regarding quote instructions and update per management’s request.
• Manage multiple invoices simultaneously and meet expected timelines.
• Ensure continual improvement of the invoice process.
• Work with Microsoft 360 and Outlook
• Advises team members on proper protocols, ensures all billing actions comply with company, local, state and federal guidelines.
