EXPERIENCED TRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER & FLEET SUPERVISOR

Pensacola trucking company looking for Outbound Dispatcher/Operations person for our Pick up and delivery /warehouse Dept. Truck transportation dispatch experience is a must.

Knowledge of order entry, invoicing, HOS and E-log / ELD preferred.

Responsibilities

• • Manage daily route trucks
  • Route out all outbound freight including pickups, refusals, misroutes
  • Load and Unload Forward Air trucks
  • Forklift experience
  • Manage evening drivers, including unloading trucks
  • Manage incoming phone calls
  • Tec intellect is a must ( Microsoft 365 )
  • AS400 experience preferred
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
• • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• • Take the extra mile to engage customers

  
  Requirements and skills

  • Manager Box truck fleet
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Must have tech intellect
  • Dock experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • 2-year degree preferred or High school diploma with valid experience
