Quest Partners LLC is Hiring a Quantitative Researcher & Portfolio Strategist Near New York, NY

About the Role

Quest Partners is seeking a client-focused Quant Researcher & Portfolio Strategist who has a strong understanding of financial markets and will help communicate our strategic differentiation to clients and prospects. You will conduct research, create reporting and publish white papers and studies to be used by the marketing team. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quantitative Research
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and customer preferences. Utilize quantitative techniques to uncover opportunities for product differentiation and competitive advantage.
    • Track and monitor key product metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that inform product development decisions.
  • Client and Prospect Interaction
    • Regularly meet with clients and prospects to provide additional insight into our strategy and answer high level research questions.
    • Support investor relations activities by providing quantitative analysis and insights, preparing financial reports, and assisting in investor communications.
    • Interface between the founder, research team and clients.
  • Content Creation
    • Conduct research, analyze quantitative data, and contribute to the creation of thought-provoking white papers, monthly letters, marketing materials, and other public content.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate performance insights to stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related disciplines. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and statistical modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of various systematic macro asset classes i.e. Futures, FX
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to summarize complex concepts into thought provoking, insightful marketing materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with investor relations and marketing concepts.

The base range for this role is expected to be between $200,000 and $300,000. This does not include other aspects of compensation such as discretionary bonus and a competitive comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to a candidate will vary within the range above depending on factors such as qualifications, education, and skill level.
