Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lab space planning and lab build-out coordination
• Asset tracking (prototypes, test units, boards)
• Equipment tracking, management, coordinating calibration.
• Ordering and inventorying supplies, equipment, etc for electrical and mechanical labs
• Miscellaneous tasks (moving supplies/equipment, organizing, etc)
• Providing testing support if necessary.
• Board rework/modifications (Soldering, wiring, components, etc).
• Managing components and supplies for board rework
• Support PD fixture team and fixture assembly (modifications, wiring, assembly)

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Proficient in using microscopes, soldering irons, and other circuit board rework tools
• Expert in reworking very small scale printed circuit board assemblies (soldering of very small gauge wire, attachment and removal of small SMT components, etc).
• Familiar with common SMT components and supplies required for reworking boards.
• Familiar with operating electrical test equipment.
• Ability to assemble fixtures including mechanical assembly and electrical wiring
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google software tools such as spreadsheets, presentations and documents.
• Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in operating common electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc
• Previous experience leading lab management activities
