· We are seeking candidates with 3 yrs of Cash Apps experience for a Cash Applications Specialist opening with a leading manufacturing company in Alpharetta (right off exit 12).

· This is a permanent, full-time role

· This is a hybrid position that will work 4 days in-office and work from home on Thursdays.

The Cash Application Specialist role will be a part of the Finance Department and will support the Credit & Collections Manager in the cash application process.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Act as the company's point of contact for Customer cash application.
• Demonstrate soft collections by providing helpful and courteous customer service throughout the collections process while achieving desired results.
• Identify and update appropriate Customer contact information within NetSuite.
• Manage all aspects of cash applications including but not limited to:
• Lockbox payments
• ACH/Wire
• Checks
• Process and apply credit card payments.
• Promptly respond to customer invoice inquiries
• Review Customer web portals for payment status and to resolve billing issues.
• Research and work with customers to resolve payment discrepancies
• Cross train with the Accounts Receivable team to assist and provide back up as needed.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in Cash Application
• Experience with a distribution/manufacturing company preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and the ability to quickly learn ERP systems.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Associate degree is a plus.
