Overview

This position is responsible for technical support of inbound and outbound eligibility feeds, dashboard development, automation efforts, and custom report generation in support of internal and external customer needs. Also provides advanced technical product support for Employer Population Health applications working closely with internal and external customers. This position is also responsible for gathering business requirements for inbound analytics requests, designing, and developing solutions using Tableau and/or Alteryx, and presenting output to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Independently gather and evaluate business requirements for incoming business analytics requests and provide efficient and effective solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and/or Alteryx workflows leveraging advanced functionality.
• Ability to develop SQL queries to assist in automation efforts (dashboards and/or workflows)
• Maintains proactive communication and transparency with key internal and external stakeholders to provide status of projects
• Works closely with functional experts, provides mentorship and catalyzes strong collaboration among all resources involved.
• Ability to juggle multiple high priority projects, while delivering quality work in a timely manner.
• Assure data integrity by conducting review of inbound and outbound data, participating in User Acceptance testing, and performing quality assurance checks.
• Create re-usable and ad-hoc reports for clients and for internal use.
• Provide support for Transmission Requests and Data Interfaces.
• Perform root-cause analysis on issues. Research and design short term and long-term solutions.
• Complete and thorough documentation to support all system modifications and enhancements.
• Satisfactorily meets estimated completion dates.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum of three years of work experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience with Alteryx
• Experience writing basic SQL queries
• Proficient in Excel

Preferred Work Experience:

• Healthcare industry experience preferred, specifically in an analytics role.
• 2 years’ experience in project management or continuous improvement methodologies
• Basic knowledge of Tableau (or similar data visualization tool) and/or Cognos is preferred

Skills:

• Advanced Excel User
• Advanced data analysis skills
• Proficient in Alteryx & SQL
• Basic knowledge of Tableau (or similar data visualization tool)
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis tools to drive improvement and demonstrate ROI
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in continuous improvement, process management, or system thinking
• Problem-solving skills: uses a systematic, disciplined and data-driven approach that identifies the root causes of various issues and designs solutions to resolve them
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree(Required)
• Master’s Degree preferred
