Roles and Responsibilities
- Review pre-screening and complete any and or all documentation
- Provide excellent customer service skills to client admitting into the program
- Complete admission procedures upon client arrival; conduct introduction, tour, consents, and search of person and baggage (See Admission Procedure)
- Conducts Vitals, BAC, urinalysis (UA) drug screen collection following all appropriate procedures.
- Supervise and document clients self-administration of medication and following all medication protocol and procedures.
- Conducts 72hour detox observations, vitals, CIWAS and COWS per protocol.
- Monitor and documents client behavior during detox and/or hourly observation requirements utilizing
Mental Status Exam and implementing in shift logs and observation logs.
- Coordinates clients’ treatment with assigned counseling staff.
- Facilitates daily activities in a residential component; waking up clients, chore supervision, assists with meal service, makes coffee on the daily basis, assists with laundry.
- Transports clients to airport, appointments, hospital, doctor office, outside meetings, store runs, recreational groups and other guest/company transportation requirements Provides assistance with client telephone calls during designated hours.
- Ensures consistent schedule in order to provide client psychoeducation on the importance of maintaining regular activities of daily living.
- Conducts regular house checks, room checks, facility grounds/permitter checks to ensure safety and security.
- Observes and monitors client behavior and intervenes based on schedule, individual client treatment plan and house needs.
- Provides one-on-one supervision for clients on detox level of care, suicide watch and ACA needs
- Conduct room turnover after clients discharge in compliance with facility procedures to ensure proper sanitation of area.
- Provide follow up contact to clients who have exited the program per 30 and 90 day Follow-Up procedure
- Complete Incident Reports according to Policy and Procedure
- Maintain facility organization, cleanliness, make copies of needed paperwork for staff and clients, file paperwork, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
