The Position

The Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Programs will be entrusted with a pivotal role in driving sourcing strategy, procurement execution and oversight, and other projects to enhance FCF across Quench. You will play a critical role in helping to define and drive strategic sourcing and cost reduction efforts as well as supporting ongoing initiatives and identify new opportunities that help us improve our inventory positions, reduce Capex, and improve our AR position. You will work closely with the CFO and other key leaders across the organization, including the COO and VP of Supply Chain to drive major strategic programs (SDP) tied to FCF and identify new opportunities through analytics across sourcing spend categories, and process improvements that support our supply chain transformation and our AR and collections processes. As a key team member, you will lead key initiatives, help drive and program manage key programs, and apply analytics to identify new opportunities to bring to the team and get buy in to define new projects and efforts with a major focus on sourcing and cost reduction. To be successful you will be a strong collaborator with leaders and key stakeholders to create alignment on efforts, define priorities for areas of execution , and support and lead defined efforts across sourcing, inventory and AR, to enable profitable growth, and create flexibility and efficiency for our strategic cost objectives.

Responsibilities

·Project identification and Program management

oDefine and drive sourcing programs across the organization that will help the organization meet our annual procurement goals, while supporting existing strategic initiatives across supply chain, continuous improvement, inventory and AR. This will include both working with the functional leads to drive existing programs, but also to define future efforts, establish goals and action plans, and manage progress against these efforts

·Procurement execution and process development

oDevelop and implement procurement strategies and best practice processes aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Align on key spend categories to execute procurement and total cost of ownership efforts (TCO), including defining and driving the end-to-end procurement process. Work with organizational leaders to continuously assess areas of opportunity through analytics and market trends to define areas of focus and prioritized efforts to lead and support.

oImplement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards, improving operational efficiency, improving service levels, and driving down costs.

oEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and track progress against targets.

oGenerate reports and analysis to provide insights into procurement activities and performance metrics.

·Inventory improvement:

oCollaborate with the VP of Supply Chain to identify areas across refurbishment, inventory management, forecasting and expediting to support and/or define areas of potential Capex and WC improvement, while improving our key goals of right part right place and improving the customer experience

oDefine areas of opportunity through both process assessments and analytics, collaborate with the teams to establish project plans to meet improvement goals, define key metrics for success, and support and drive execution with the teams.

·AR improvement:

oCollaborate with the CFO and VP of Collections to identify areas across collections, cash applications, and billing to support and/or define areas of potential AR improvement, while improving our processes and ensuring sustainable growth

oApply analytics and deep analysis to help identify segments and areas of potential risks and opportunity early to focus our collections, cash apps, and billing teams for early management to reduce growing aged debt

oCollaborate with the teams to define solutions, establish project plans to meet improvement goals, define key metrics for success, and support and drive execution with the teams as needed.

·Stakeholder Engagement:

oCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, supply chain, service, sales and marketing to understand business requirements and align efforts and activities with organizational goals.

oCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for initiatives and efforts.

·Must have

oKnowledge of procurement best practice processes, supply chain management, and sourcing strategies

oAbility to define sourcing efforts, apply sourcing tools (RFX, TCO models, spend analytics), and execute on sourcing efforts to drive cost savings.

oProven track record in driving programs and projects across operations and working capital.

oFinancial Acumen and proficiency in analyzing opportunities, building business cases, and managing programs to hit targeted goals.

oStrong collaboration skills and commitment to multi-functional thinking – ability to work across teams to align on needs, trade-offs, and decisions.

oSolid planning, priority setting, and project management skills to support multiple efforts simultaneously.

oInitiative and Innovation with demonstrated track record of building programs from the ground up and finding creative solutions to challenges.

oAbility to develop business cases and align teams on data-driven decisions.

oStrong interpersonal and communication skills.

·Preferred experience:

oMinimum of 5 years of business experience in supply chain, operations or finance, or 3 years of strategic consulting management experience with a top tier consulting firm

oProven track record in procurement and cost management

oBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or finance, or a related field.
