Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and Driver to join our team. As a Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for operating roll off trucks and delivering and picking up containers at various locations.
Duties:
- Safely operate roll off trucks to deliver and pick up containers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Secure containers properly on the truck for transportation
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules
- Assist with loading and unloading containers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial driving role
- trucks, front loader trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers
- Proficient in driving vehicles with manual transmissions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on the truck
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail to ensure proper container placement and securement
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatch and customers
This is a full-time position with competitive pay. We offer benefits such as which we pay 100% of employees health insurance, 401K retirement plans, and paid time off.
