- Responsible for security and emergency medical situations at assigned duty post.
- Maintains CPR Card.
- Maintain, control and inventory all security equipment/supplies. Reports any broken, expired or contaminated supplies or equipment.
- Briefs on-coming Security Officers and Bike Officers.
- Knows and complies with all applicable procedures, rules, regulations and laws.
- Escorts Gaming chips, tokens and cash. Participates in hard count and soft count drops.
- Knows how to properly operate all security equipment.
- Participates in all mandatory training classes and meeting.
- Ensures only guests over 21 consume alcohol, enter the casino floor or gamble on the Queen property.
- Ensure only authorized personnel are in non-public areas.
- Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Periodically required to testify in legal proceedings.
- Maintain and secure confidential information.
- Must complete required daily security/incident reports accurately and timely.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent work experience.
- Previous Security experience and/or training preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain a CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming license
