Roles & Responsibilities of the Cow Mascot: The Cow’s job is to activate Emotional Connections Marketing with our guests and to help guests become Raving Fans®. The Cow’s primary responsibilities are listed below:
Be silent. Use actions, exaggerated movements and entertaining behavior to communicate (The Cow does not talk – he/she use the Cow Handler to speak on their behalf).
Be unexpectedly fun. The Cows have certain character traits that should come through each and every time they perform.
Ensure the Cow Costume is worn correctly.
Treat the Cow Costume with care (clean the costume & put it away neatly).
Wear the Eat Mor Chikin® signboard or another Chick-fil-A approved message (e.g., a campaign-specific message), with a visible Chick-fil-A® logo (sometimes we used themed cows – i.e. Superhero Cow).
Pose for photographs, making sure the signboard can be clearly seen.
Make kids feel special. Kids are the Cow’s biggest fans; make them feel special and make them smile.
Stay with the Cow handler at all times and stay safe.
Take scheduled breaks and be sure to drink plenty of water.
