JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide subject matter expertise, architecture guidance and strategic vision for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP), and authentication solutions
• Provide PKI policy support including authoring original Certificate Policy (CP), Certification Practice Statement (CPS), and Registration Practice Statement (RPS) documents in RFC 3647 format
• Provide review, editing, and analysis of existing documents
• Support in providing representation to US and International Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) groups and will provide commercial and open-source product evaluation for Public Key Enabled products

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Significant expertise with PKI, OCSP and authentication solutions
• Significant expertise with customer processes, policies, and procedures
• Experience with SW development methodologies
• Ability to solve complex system/integration problems
• Experience briefing senior-level management
• Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in working with Software Development, Test Engineers, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements
• Ability to facilitate meetings and brief technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be customer focused
• Must be able to work independently and provide workable solutions to support deployment and scalability requirements in a collaborative work environment with software and systems engineers
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision

EDUCATION:

• 15 years of Technical Consultant experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• 5 years of additional Technical Consulting experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 20 years experience
