Quatrro Business Support Services is seeking a Director of Accounting for their not-for-profit team. As the Director of Accounting, you will oversee the end-to-end accounting processes for multiple nonprofit clients. Serving as the main point of contact and internal liaison for our clients, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a compelling vision for developing and implementing an effective client strategy that will empower them to reach their financial goals and objectives successfully. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities: 

• Delivers accurate and timely financial statements, coaching, and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers to help improve margins and impact their bottom line.
• Lead budget process and incorporate periodic analytics. 
• Works closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations. Monitors finances to aid clients functioning within those guidelines and provides financial analysis and advice to clients.
• Provides best practices within Quatrro to help the client improve their business execution—coordinates with other internal Quatrro teams for consultative support on all financial services. 
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to a particular client delivery process.
• Addresses client concerns and issues to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and dealt with according to client satisfaction. 

Qualifications:

Required:

• 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting/finance focus (or equivalent knowledge/experience),
• Ability to manage priorities and functions, excellent interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• 7 years of not-for-profit experience 
• 8 years of Controller/CFO experience 
• Business acumen and ability to communicate with key stakeholders and C-level executives.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree, CPA, previous people management experience.
• Experienced in creating processes and efficiencies to create an operational Center of Excellence.

Desirable:

• Experience in a consulting or business process outsourcing (BPO) environment.
