Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is Hiring a Healthcare Housekeeping and Laundry Team Lead Near Quarryville, PA

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is looking for an organized natural motivator to step into the role of Healthcare Housekeeping & Laundry Team Lead! This “working lead” position ensures the spotless first impression that everyone gets when they enter our facility. A qualified candidate will be able to work independently, be flexible, and manage their time while guiding and instructing their team members. Specifics:Full-time benefited positionHours – 6:00am – 2:30pm (some flexibility available)Primary Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Assign schedules and projects within the department.
Handle all scheduling issues within the team.
Train or assign initial training for new team members and instruct current team members when assuming a new area or special project.
Responsible for ordering chemicals and supplies for the Healthcare Housekeeping and Laundry team.
Perform all PI inspections, address and correct all deficiencies within 48 hours.
Provide feedback for your team member appraisals.
Plan and organize in-services for the Healthcare Housekeeping and Laundry team.
Represent the department in all interactions with residents, family members, visitors, team members and other departments.
Represent department on committees, as needed.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent working experience required.
Two years housekeeping or Laundry experience a plus but not a must
Proven independent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to lead and motivate others through prior proven experience
