Inspector III
Full-time/ Temp-to-Hire
Monday - Thursday: 6am-4:30 pm (40hrs/ 10hr shifts)
$25.00- $30.00 DOE

Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications, and verify supplier approval status and certifications against drawing and/or specification requirements for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize various inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Work closely with customer representatives during source inspections and audits
- Use statistical process control (SPC) symbols and tools with correct interpretations of control plans/charts
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and records
- Execute formal first article reports to AS9102 standards
- Participate in the development and improvement of quality management systems
- Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors
Education/ Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with one year certification from college or technical school; OR minimum of 5 years experience & training in related field
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
- Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, sine bars, optical comparators, height masters and johnson gauges
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis techniques
- Ability to read and interpret documents, operating instructions, procedural manuals, blue prints and technical specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications- interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with both abstract and concrete variables
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions
- Effective communication, both verbal and written, for routine reporting and corresponding and speaking one-on-one or to small groups

- Mechanical Inspections
