Quantum Space is currently seeking a Solutions Architect/Proposal Technical Writer to join our team! This position will be located in our Rockville, MD headquarters. In this role you will be responsible for the development, planning, and writing of compliant and compelling proposal content. As a key member of the proposal team, you will support Quantum Space Capture Managers and Proposal Managers in the planning and development of proposal win themes, and identification of discriminators, benefits, an key features of solutions on proposals.
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serve as Volume Lead and/or Lead Writer for Technical and Introduction Volumes of proposals. Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing technical sections of federal government proposals is a key requirement for this position.
• Work closely with Solutions Architects and Subject Matter Experts and operations staff to collect data required for the development of proposal volumes.
• Write, edit and revise proposal materials and coordinate with technical and proposal personnel to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze solicitation requirements (RFI, RFP, etc) and participate in solution meetings.
• Participate in color team reviews
• Participate in the continuing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Disciplines, Business Administration, or a related technical or business discipline, or equivalent combination of education
• 5 years of federal proposal writing for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Technical Proposal Writer.
• Experience writing Technical Volumes in support of IC customers preferred.
