Mission:

Quantum Research International has an opening for a Program Protection Security Analyst. The individual will provide support to the office of the Chief Engineer, and the Assistant Program Executive Office-International. The individual will assess Program Protection issues/concerns by reviewing and interpreting the new DA and DoD program protection and other technical documentation, to include documentation for export (both FMS and DCS). The candidate is expected to prepare technical briefings, managing Critical Function Analysis, Critical Program Information Assessments, Trade-Off Analysis, interface control, and an assortment of releases and Exceptions to National Disclosure Policies, Yockey Waivers, and guidance’s for the Low Observable Counter-Low Observable (LO/CLO) and TS/FD pipes. Assist in staffing, developing draft technical brief and draft Decision Memoranda (DM) for delivery to the Service OPR to be presented to the Executive Committee meetings chaired by the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for developing and evaluating the feasibility of advanced or unique concepts for improving missile and rocket program protection and defense exportability features; for expanding the capability of missiles and rockets through adapting new applications of technology and technology security to perform additional mission, reduce cost, extend the acquisition lifecycle, or enhance logistics support capability by reducing additional security requirements.
  • Support through literature research or performing computations to set performance boundaries; preparation of briefing material to describe the concept or technique being considered; developing White Papers, briefs, and other written material as required to develop and communicate these advanced or unique concepts.
  • Participate in meetings and activities to address the strategic planning and organizing of system or subsystem program protection enhancement requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate process improvement issues concerning application of modern technology to solve operational, logistical, and life cycle problems.
  • Travel may be required in performance of this position (10%-15%).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university in engineering.
  • Secret Level Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The potential of additional access to SCI for performance of duties on systems with a classification higher than secret collateral
