Overview:

Quantum Research International, Inc. Mission:

Quantum is currently seeking a Logistician to provide the US Space Force (USSF) Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) support related to its mission to plan, task, integrate, provide Command and Control (C2), and support integrated Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR). C2 is conducted day-to-day, through reachback capabilities and deployable subject matter experts, in support of US Combatant Commanders (CCDRs). Assistance is provided via the JNWC NAVWAR support cell, coordination cells, and deployable theater coordination cells.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will provide logistics support to JNWC exercises and assessments: PNT Operational Field Assessments (POFA) and Field Training Exercises (FTX). Directly support and lead logistics operations at three or more simultaneous field events located at multiple geographically separated locations.

  • Provide technical expertise in conducting PNT assessment concept development, operational planning, pre-deployment operations, execution, post/re-deployment operations, accountability, analysis, and reporting.
  • Maintain accountability of all deployed equipment IAW test plan documentation and J4 Division accountability processes this includes providing accurate accountability on a daily basis and report any deviations/discrepancies to J4 Division leadership. Determine/suggest equipment and support capabilities required to accomplish each specific event.
  • Conduct cost estimations pertaining to logistics functions.
  • Develop and refine logistics CONOPS, Sync Matrixes and other required documentation in support of POFA and FTX events.
  • Possess knowledge of use and care of basic equipment (hand tools, power tools, generators, etc.), of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical functions. and of basic vehicle operations including towing/backing enclosed trailers and annotating records (AF Form 1800, AF Form 1297, Load Lists).
  • Provide technical expertise in preparing, packing, and securing equipment for transport in support of event deployments.
  • Administer the Safety Program for JNWC.
  • Coordinate with 377 ABW/SEG and abide by all pertinent regulations and Air Force Instructions (AFIs) pertaining to program management. Disseminate and clarify, if required, safety messages and notifications originating from 377 ABW/SEG to JNWC personnel. Assist in providing training and signage for equipment. Perform monthly and annual inspections of JNWC facilities and annotate documentation and retain records as required. Administer the HAZCOM and Initial Accumulation Point (IAP) programs for JNWC. Coordinate with 377 and abide by all pertinent regulations and Air Force Instructions (AFIs) pertaining to program management. Maintain current and historical information pertaining to the HAZCOM program via physical or electronic files. Perform routine inspections on all JNWC HAZCOM oriented sites as required. Coordinate with J4 Division leadership, 377 LRS and GSA personnel in managing usage and maintenance of GSA and AF fleet vehicles assigned to JNWC and submit monthly vehicle utilization report to 377 LRS.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer initial and recurring vehicle driver training to applicable JNWC personnel. Monitor and manage vehicle requests for JNWC fleet vehicles utilizing internal Vehicle Reservation ticketing system.
  • Coordinate repair or replacement actions for a large variety of common and specialized equipment.
  • Receive shipments, match to existing Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate delivery to intended recipients while working with Warehouse Manager to determine and assign accountability of assets.

Requirement:

  • Requires High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of military logistics experience.
  • Possess proficiency with organizational and basic computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Possess a working knowledge of OSHA, Base and Range safety protocols.
  • Must be able to lift over 75lbs, work in austere weather conditions, and if required, acquire a class A CDL.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience with a CPL.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant military logistic work experience.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret SCI clearance.
