Quantum Inpatient Services is Hiring a Primary Care Physician Near The Villages, FL

 

PREMIER MEDICAL ASSOCIATES 

We are a growing medical practice looking for an experienced, passionate and provider to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Primary Care Provider with expertise in Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive patient care management consistent with their licensure and/or certification
  • The physician is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion and care coordination and documentation for patients with acute and complex chronic health needs.
  • The physician will conduct examinations of ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition
  • Utilizes managed care methodology for cost-effective and efficient use of lab radiology and specialists, skilled nursing providers, and other ancillary services
  • Completes timely and comprehensive medical documentation in current EMR systems according to company standards
  • Maintains primary care management of patients referred to specialist to ensure continuity of care throughout the entire patient care journey.
  • Participates with peers, internal specialists, and practice care teams in the comprehensive care of the patient
  • Directs ongoing education and communications to patients, families, and other health care providers
  • Provides clinical oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (PA, ARNP), staff nurses and other support staff.
  • Participates in educational activities for organization’s physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and their ancillary staff for the purposes of education and patient care
  • Participates in business and patient care meetings
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Education & Licenses:

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from a US accredited institution.
  • Internal Medicine or Family Practice Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida with no restrictions

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine

  • Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment
  • Basic computer skills, familiar with EMR and email (ECW Preferred)
  • Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
  • Bi-lingual a plus!
