Description
The Quality Assurance Assistant reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and assists the QA Manager and Quality Department in maintaining the Quality Management System at ECI as well as assisting and supporting the necessary test and inspection operations at ECI. The QA Assistant acting on behalf of the QA Manager will assist the QA Manager in identifying, documenting, and resolving supplier, internal and customer issues or complaints. ensure that all policies, procedures, instructions, and specifications as they relate to the Quality System are properly followed and when required documented, using operational risk management. The QA Assistant will provide functional support and assistance to the QA Manager in organizing and managing the development or implementation of new quality policies, procedures, continuous improvement initiatives, test and inspection procedures or other related quality documents that define and support the quality system. The QA Assistant will identify, implement, and document the required training of quality assurance personnel or other company personnel in support of company and customer policies, procedures, projects, and initiatives.

Personal Qualifications:· Conscientious and responsible· A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach· Outstanding communication skills· Excellent organizational and leadership skills· Proficient in MS Office· In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards· Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.· BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field· Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
