We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Intern to join our growing organization and IT group. The ideal candidate will have an interest in software and hardware support as well as learning how businesses leverage technology for success. The candidate will learn and perform a variety of routine IT tasks and methodologies in support of team goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare IT project status reports.
• Manages and tracks progress of initial procurements and renewals and reports status to key IT stakeholders.
• Gather requirements by working with IT and Business users on Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, Reference data and Policy Management.
• Maintain Enterprise application inventory and provide updates on a scheduled basis.
• Act as a representative of IT to the user population, providing excellent customer service over the phone, email and in person.
• Image and deploy new computers and software, setup accounts in Microsoft and various applications as needed, and train users on basic functionality of our systems.
• Participate in IT asset lifecycle to meet compliance requirements.
• Use strong documentation skills to ensure that databases are kept up to date with relevant information from IT team members.
• Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.

What We’ll Expect From You: 

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience using Windows 10
• Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Office 365.
• Conceptual familiarity with security tools (Antivirus, encryption, others).
• Basic network troubleshooting (understanding of gateways, subnet-masks, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience using Apple macOS.
• Exposure to audio/visual conferencing, specifically Microsoft Teams.
• Willingness to learn new processes/tools/systems and suggest improvements to existing processes/tools/systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current & future PC, mobile & tablet computing technology.

Expectations, Skills & Abilities:

• 5 days a week onsite in our Billerica office
