ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements and maintains a production process that complies with established internal documentation.
  • Responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the CCBU staff. Plans daily production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for producing product.
  • Ensures products are assembled according to company standards as outlined in Work Instructions.
  • Coordinates production activities to insure quantity and quality of products meets established specifications.
  • Ensures production employees have been trained on and understand each Work Instruction for their function(s).
  • Ensures production employees have timely job specific and safety training to perform their duties.
  • Ensures all required documentation for production, training, etc. is completed timely and accurately.
    • Directs the workflow in the CCBU department and schedules work hours for assigned to employees.
  • Responsible for performing all supervisory functions of hiring, evaluating, disciplining and approving employee-related transactions.
  • Responsible for training employees in the performance of their jobs and providing feedback.
  • Collects, monitors and maintains performance metrics.
  • Support the development and improvement of process for service lines, warehouses and other service operations.
  • Follows all Quality System and ISO requirements
  • Maintains a safe work environment through safety training for employees, identifying hazards in the work place and correcting them, and providing discipline, when necessary, for violation of Company safety rules.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Service Operations employees are utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring all work related injuries are reported to Human Resources.
    • Adheres to and supports Quanta’s Corporate Policies and Procedures.
    • Actively works to improve processes in the company and its relationship to the community.
    • Maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisor and the public.
    • Work as part of the team and collaborate with co-workers and colleagues.
    • Adheres to and supports QMN’s Corporate Policies and Procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in a high technical service/repair, electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in an electronic service environment preferred.
  • Experience in writing procedures according to applicable regulations.
  • Training and/or experience implementing manufacturing and/ or service.
  • B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Production and Operations Management or related field preferred.
  • Certificate in manufacturing or process improvement preferred.

SAFETY

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Service Operations area employees are utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all time.
  • Responsible for reporting all work related injuries to Human Resources.

SUPERVISION

  • Responsible for training employees in the performance of their jobs and providing feed back.
  • Responsible for performing all supervisory functions of hiring, evaluation, disciplining and approving employee-related transactions.
  • Maintains a safe work environment through safety training for employees, identifying hazards in the work place and correcting them, and providing discipline, when necessary for violation of Company safety rules.

DIRECTION RECEIVED

  • Works under the administrative direction of the Operations Manager. (Performs assignments/duties within broad parameters defined by general organizational requirements and accepted practices).

  • Computer literate in a Windows Environment: Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
  • Technical troubleshooting and repair skills for notebook computers or similar products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
  • Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air.
  • Able to sit at desk and use/view computer for prolonged periods of time, up to 8 hours daily.
