We are seeking an experienced Integration Solutions Associate Consultant to join our Digital Solutions team.

Responsibilities

Work as a technical consultant in a casual and fun team setting to develop modern software for utility grid management. Familiarity with the utility industry is desired, but not essential. 

This is an opening for an Associate Consultant reporting directly to the Director of Integration Solutions. You will play a pivotal role in delivery of ADMS implementations and integration from our leading ADMS software partners, providing consulting services to our existing customers on product installation, product patching, integration development, interface support, application tuning, release management and system maintenance. In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

• Travel to customer sites across the country.
• Work from home.
• Solve complex implementation, requirement, design, and business process challenges. 
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various ADMS applications, integration, and architecture.

This opportunity will require that you understand the procedures and expected system applications and integrations that are being delivered for GridBright customers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure on-time project delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations of project assignments. You will be part of a core project team working on projects to meet the project deliverables and timelines.

Qualifications

The following qualities are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.

• 2 - 5 years of work experience supporting and deploying production OMS/ADMS software
• Multiple years working in the IT industry
  • At a technology company or technology department supporting system environments
  • Willing and able to travel to customer project sites
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience with the technologies such as:
  • Oracle, Linux, WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, or Tomcat environment
  • WebLogic or JBoss Application Server Administration
• Proficiency with Bash, ksh, node, or python
• Experience with git and configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Vagrant)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Experience with Linux including patches, fixes, and upgrades
• Experience with DBMS software including patches, fixes, database version upgrades
• Experience with WebLogic software including patches, fixes, and upgrades
• Innovative thinker with a drive to learn and implement new technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and customer focus
• Be able to work independently; personal initiative to anticipate and resolve problems.
• High standards of professional ethics
