Quality Tool is Hiring an Assembly Worker Near Saint Paul, MN

Production Assembler (2nd Shift)

Quality Tool, an ISO9001:2015 certified contract manufacturer delivering metal components to Fortune 500 companies is seeking a reliable, motivated and team-minded Production Assembler to work the 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday 2nd Shift in our Assembly area at our St. Paul, MN facility. This position is responsible for the assembly and installation of metal components.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling of brackets and pressing clinch nuts using a Haeger machine.
  • Part-marking, labeling, date coding, and boxing of metal components.
  • Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ensuring that all work is done in accordance with and adheres to Company ISO9001:2015 and Quality standards
  • Understand and promotes company’s mission, values and quality policy.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude and demonstration of problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Good hand dexterity and utilization of hand tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1 plus years of experience in a metal manufacturing setting.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
