Quality Testing is Hiring a Construction Materials Testing Technician Near Gilbert, AZ
Quality Testing, LLC (QT) has been helping owner agencies, contractors, construction managers, engineering consultants, and private developers achieve and document the quality of their construction activities since the year 2000. As an Arizona based engineering firm, QT provides an array of construction services including both construction materials testing and construction inspection.
QT is currently hiring certified Construction Materials Testing Technicians to serve our clients in both the field and the lab. The Construction Materials Testing Technician will be supplied with a company vehicle, safety and testing equipment, and all tools necessary to perform their job. Additional training and certification will be provided by the company as-needed. Job Responsibilities
- Perform various materials testing duties on concrete, soils, aggregates, and asphalt materials within the field or the QT lab
- Thoroughly maintain documentation of testing activities through use of QT’s computerized data collection and reporting tools
- Effectively communicate with Project Managers regarding test results and project status
- Research and understand project requirements

- Research and understand project requirements
- At least 1 year of experience performing field or laboratory materials sampling and testing on major heavy civil construction projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities, drainage systems, airports, rail systems, dams or similar public works and/or commercial type facilities
- Possess one or more technical certifications, including: ATTI, ACI, ATSSA, ICC, AWS, and IMSA
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel depending on project needs (QT has Phoenix based and travel positions throughout Az)
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with numbers
- Possess a commitment to client and project owner satisfaction and a desire to develop and maintain positive and productive working relations with co-workers, construction contractors, subcontractors, other consultant personnel, clients and owner representatives.
