Part- time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper who is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, possesses exceptional attention to detail, looks for errors, and is proficient in QuickBooks Online. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our accounting department to analyze financial data and generate reports, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online, including recording purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Collaborate with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.

Verify and record transactions in appropriate ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Prepare financial statements and bring books to the trial balance stage.

Perform partial checks of the posting process to identify and correct errors.

Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting practices (payable/receivable).

Ability to accurately calculate, post, and manage financial records.

Strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.

Proficiency in English and MS Office.

Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
