General Summary:

Workrequires a familiarity with the terminology of the office unit. Selectsappropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures or makes simpleadaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides andmanuals. The clerical steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on thetask. Recognized problems are referred to others. Serves customers by providinginformation, responding to requests and resolving problems;

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs any combination of following and similar clerical dutiesrequiring limited knowledge of systems or procedures:
• Writes, types, or enters information into computer, usingkeyboard, to input work requests, correspondence, or other documents. Sorts andfiles records.
• Answers telephone, conveys messages, and runs errands.
• Photocopies documents, using photocopier.
• This position receives, records, and distributes work orders toservice crews upon customers' requests for service on articles or utilitiespurchased from wholesale or retail establishment or utility company, recordsinformation, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to berendered, prepares work order and distributes to service crew, schedulesservice calls and dispatches service crew.
• The Service Order Dispatcher calls or writes the customer toinsure satisfactory performance of service keeps record of service calls andwork orders, may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions tomobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment.
• Abel to work in Excel to maintain, record, track and balanceService Order Logs.
• Ensure all venders invoices are submitted to corporate office bythe last day of the month.

Knowledge, Experience andSkill Requirements:

• Proficientand experienced in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
• Ability tooperate a variety of office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners,telephones and fax machines.
• Ability toread and follow instructions explicitly
• Strongorganizational and general office skills
• Must havecurrent driver license and good driving record
• Must havegood organizational skills

Working Conditions:

• Sitfor extended periods of time. 
• Ascendand descend steps.
• Push/pull, squat, turn, twist, bend and stoop.
• Officeworking environment subject to sitting at desk for long periods of time,bending, crouching and or kneeling at files, pushing/pulling of file drawers,reaching in all directions, and prolonged periods of time working at a computerterminal.
