Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Direct Care Transportation. In this position, you will play a vital and positive role in helping our clients with intellectual, cognitive, or developmental disabilities achieve their fullest potential.

About This Career Opportunity

We have a position open for a part-time employee. We need an employee to provide transportation to and from dayhab for two individuals, in their own vehicle. The employee must have their own reliable transportation, be on time and be flexible with their schedule to accommodate the consumers we serve. The position is a split shift with morning and afternoon pickups. Mornings hours are between 8:00 am and 8:45 am, afternoon hours are between 2:15pm and 3:00pm on Monday through Thursday. This is for one individual that attends Goodwill in Fort Worth and the other attends QLTC in Fort Worth. This position is for 6 hours a week.

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities

• Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
• Reporting changes in client's condition or family situation to the office
• Documenting services provided
• Transporting clients

Specific Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school degree/GED
• Valid Texas driver's license and car insurance
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
• Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time

Salary: We pay $12 an hour plus a fuel reimbursement. When providing transportation the reimbursement is $3 an hour.
