A Day In The Life Of A QMT With QCC:
  • Perform administrative functions and use company communication channels to keep patient data current
  • Provides first aid, emergency medical services, health examinations or medical services to patients
  • Distribute medications to patients under the order of physicians and mental health
  • Educates employees/patients in health and illness prevention
  • Record and chart any data associated with incidents, health history, and injuries occurring at worksite
  • Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Exercises proper judgment when selecting methods and techniques for treatment
You Would Thrive In This Position If:
  • You love the spread of Mental Health and care about the health of those in unique demographics
  • You have a background in settings such as Psych, Mental Health, Corrections, Hospital/ER etc
  • You possess a measure of grit, backbone and discernment and are not easily persuaded

Location:  Starke County Correctional Facility
Shift Openings:  Part-Time 6p-8p MON-FRI
Requirements: 
  • Valid EMT, Paramedic or QMA/CMA licensure
  • A minimum of six months of recent medical experience
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
