Quality Correctional Care is looking for a License Nurse to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

Nurse's Purpose: This position is designed to provide necessary support to other team members with the common goal of providing excellent patient care and service to our clients. LPN/RN Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

• Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic
• Performing 14-day physicals on all patients
• Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency
• Working with the dentist to ensure that our patients oral care is addressed
• Responding to medical emergencies
• Working hand in hand with physicians, PA's, NP's and correctional staff who all have the same goal of optimal patient care

Location: Tippecanoe County Correctional Facility

Shift Openings: Full-Time 6PM-6AM Rotating Weekends! 36 Hours weekly

 Requirements: 

• Valid LPN or RN licensure
• A minimum of six months of recent medical experience
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
