Title: Mobile X-Ray Technologist - Nursing Homes and Healthcare Facilities
Job Description:
As a Mobile X-Ray Technologist, you will provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. You will be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Additionally, you may need to perform EKGs and transmit them for interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent x-ray images.
- Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit them for interpretation.
- Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis.
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
- Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintain the vehicle and x-ray equipment.
Qualifications:
- Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
- Possess a valid driver's license in the applicable state and maintain good standing.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required, and proof must be submitted with the candidate packet at the time of submission.

Physical Demands:
The role requires the ability to push/pull equipment weighing anywhere from 50 to 100 lbs. The weight can be reduced when using vehicle ramps and pulleys. However, when moving the equipment within a facility or home, the weight can increase. The technician may encounter 50 lbs of force (or more) up to 16 to 24 times a day.
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Hours per week: 40 (based on a 40-hour work week)
- On-call: Yes (discussed at the interview)
- Weekend availability required based on case load (overtime may be needed)
