Job Title: Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist
Job Description:
We are seeking a Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist to provide services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The primary responsibilities include performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, as well as performing EKGs and transmitting them to specialists for interpretation. Additional duties include maintaining equipment, communicating with dispatch and management, and ensuring professional interactions with peers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
- Unload portable X-Ray equipment and perform exams as ordered by the physician
- Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images
- Perform EKGs and transmit them to Cardiologists for interpretation, as needed
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times
- Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements
- COVID-19 vaccination required (proof must be submitted in the candidate packet at the time of submission)
- Physical ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs (reduced with the use of ramps and pulleys)
