We are currently seeking a Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist to join our dedicated team.
Position Summary:
As a Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist, you will provide on-site X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. You will be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Additionally, you may need to perform EKGs and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis.
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch, management, and clients.
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.
Requirements:
- Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT Certification.
- Fulfill health requirements and operational standards.
- Hold a valid driver's license in the applicable state in good standing at all times.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required (proof must be submitted with the candidate packet at the time of submission).
Physical Demands:
The job requires the ability to push/pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. The use of vehicle ramps and pulleys can decrease the weight, but it may increase when moving equipment in facilities or homes. Pushing/pulling forces of 50 lbs or more can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
