Job Description: APP Outpatient Psychiatrist
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations in an outpatient setting to determine accurate diagnoses.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing treatment and support to patients in the community.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Work closely with a community CBHC team to deliver integrated mental health services.
Position Details:
- Dates of Coverage: 10/1/2023 - 7/31/2024
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (No call, no weekends)
- Practice Setting: Outpatient community mental health
- Rates: Hourly or daily
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 1 hour for psychiatric evaluations, 20-30 minutes for follow-ups
- Documentation System: Ehana
- Autonomous work, with M.D. supervision and support as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in psychiatry is required.
- Experience in community mental health is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with adult patients is essential, and experience with children/adolescents is a plus.
